What It Means to be a Gentlemen

These be situations in which a valet would get along with to help and be the supe- rior reality in the dilemma. Although these whitethorn seem like push asideonic things that each man should screw to and help with, in near societies the idea of a military man is a lot different, and what it takes to be superior has changed throughout the years. In The Analects of Confucius, there be many re- occurring themes on what it takes to be superior and how Confucius thinks a human beings should act, such as seeking things that are bigger than himself, staying virtuous, conclusion wisdom, and not being controlled by lust.\nAs part of being superior, Confucius said The human being reaches for high things; the small man reaches for spurn things.(Huang 146) A true gentlemans gentleman has to call for to reach goals that are bigger than himself and not raze his standards to decisions that could bring him lower in breeding. To reach these goals a man must only try and reach for opportunities in his life that only escalate himself in the eyes of everyone. To do so, he must only want to get better every day. A true gentleman would never lower himself in life, and put up with problems that come his way. For the sake of being superior, a man would keep on moving through the spoilt times thrown at 2 him and keep escalating himself every day and become greater than anyone could ever think to be possible.\nConfucius also stated If a gentleman is not grave, he leave alone not be awe-inspiring. If he\nlearns he will not be benighted. He keeps whole-hearted sincerity and truthfulness as his major principals and does not befriend those beneath him.
