An interesting topic brought up in chapter five was the predilection of digital cash.  After reading this chapter I began thinking around the purchases I lease made online and how my bank has access to that history.  Although I never dateed it before, I am now wondering if this violates my covert.  throughout this essay I would like to explore the pros and cons of development digital cash to purchasing online merchandise and evaluate the ethics extend to in wanting this secrecy. According to the reading, in an anonymous electronic property system, digital cash withdrawn by a customer would be untraceable.  This would allow people to drive the equal of paper gold but electronically that they could spend as they like.  The benefits are that people would be able to preserve their privacy without leaving an electronic trail.  Similarly when ordering something online one wouldnt break to enter their credit card numbers into store databases.  This cleverness hel p reduce identity theft. Some of the hurt to utilize digital cash would be keeping counterfeit money from being created.  As we countenance seen with music it is relatively untidy to copy digital data.  Also, since it is harder to trace where the digital cash came from, it initiate be harder to detect and prosecute those criminals.
